Above is a JD hood being color sanded to perfection. This machine was previously 'refurbished' by a body shop. No mechanical work or testing was done to the machine and as you can see care was NOT taken in dent removal either (note white spot are dents!) - It was brought here after 2yrs of service when the paint fell off from the very poor prep work and it had many mechanical and electrical issues as well even though it was given a clean bill of health by a dealer.
Another example of a machine in poor condition is this JD Tractor engine. It was sold as a running machine but started very poorly and had little power. After a tear down for the ReMachine process it was found that 2 sleeves had coolant damage and all had significant wear. None of the injectors met specification and oil pressure was low. This unit was sold by its owner to a customer about a year before its ReMachine when it became a solid tractor.
